Client: Alkimos Waste Water Alliance Engineering and Submarine Outfall Detailed design for the fabrication and installation of a 3800m x 1270mm steel outfall pipe with concrete weight coating Location: Browse Field, Australia Client: Woodside Energy Ltd Engineering, Design and Feasibility Studies Feasibility Study to install landfall pipelines using directional drilling, for an LNG facility, 425km offshore at Scotts Reef Location: Victoria and Tasmania, Australia Client: Duke Energy Directionally Drilled Landfalls 14" pipeline landfalls undertaken by HDD as a subcontract to Allseas. The landfall in Victoria was 1453m, and in Tasmania it was 865m. Location: Chao Phraya, Bangkok, Thailand Client: Royal Thai Government (s/c to Italian-Thai) Directional Drilled Crossings The installation of twin 1300m x 900mm dia HDPE pipe crossings of the Chao Phraya River. Part of the Samut Prakan Wastewater Management Scheme for Bangkok Location: CPC Terminal, Yung- An, Taiwan Client: Chinese Petroleum Corporation (s/c to Hyundai Heavy Industries) Directionally Drilled Landfall The drilling and pull-in from a laybarge of a steel landfall pipe 750m long x 914mm dia. The works included engineering, drilling and installing the pipe string of the landfall pipeline, incorporating an offshore barge with drill string crew and dive spread. The landfall was part of the Yung An to Tung Shaio Pipeline Project, main contractor Hyundai Heavy Industries for the Chinese Petroleum Corporation. Location: Tuas, Singapore Client: Sembcorp Gas (JV with HAM) Inter Island and Estuary Crossing E.P.I.C. contract for installation of 2 No. 406mm and 1 No. 711mm pipeline and fibre optic cable installed by bottom pull into a pre-dredged trench 3.2km long from Jurong Island to Singapore. Location: Malacca, Malaysia Client: Malacca Refineries (s/c to Nippon Steel) Landfall, Tanker Terminals and Sealine Pull ashore from a laybarge a 1.5km x 1220mm crude oil import line being laid to a single point mooring terminal. Work also included extensive beach cofferdam works. Location: Sabah, Malaysia Client: Petronas Carigali (s/c to TLO) Directionally Drilled Landfall and Trenching Installation of a 1500m x 406mm steel gas pipeline landfall forming part of the Sabah Gas Pipeline Project. The landfall was drilled from the shore and the pipeline pulled into position from a laybarge. A further 1km section was post trenched into the seabed using the L&M trenching machine TMV. Location: Lawit 'A', Malaysia Client: Esso Production Malaysia Inc (s/c to McDermott - Malmac) Directionally Drilled Landfall with Trenching Installation of a 1.2km x 762mm gas pipeline landfall from the Lawit 'A' Field at Kerteh in NE Malaysia. Landfall was drilled from the land and the pipeline pulled ashore from a laybarge. The trenching of a 1km section of a 914mm dia oil loading line to a Conventional Buoy Mooring at Mina Suad was undertaken using the L&M trenching machine TMV. Location: Port Dickson, Malaysia Client: Hamilton Oil Pipeline Construction of a 3km x 323mm dia onshore pipeline to carry distillate fuel from a refinery to the Port Dickson Power Station. The pipeline was laid in the verge margin of a highway and was used for the early delivery of fuel to the power station, prior to connection to a natural gas supply. Subsequent use will be for a standby service. Location: Jakarta, Indonesia Client: ARCO Engineering, Directional Drilled Landfall and Crossing Design and installation of a directionally drilled pipeline landfall and a cable/channel crossing in open waters. Forming part of the ARII ONWJ gas development to supply gas to power generating stations. Landfall Tg. Priok 1.2km x 660mm dia Offshore Crossing 1.2km x 660mm dia Location: Noumea, New Caledonia Client: Societe le Nickel & BP Engineering, Tanker Terminal, SPM and Sealine Engineering and installation of Conventional Buoy Mooring for 50,000 ton tankers together with associated oil supply line of 660mm dia x 3.7km. L&M acted as Consulting Engineers Location: Hong Kong Harbour, Hong Kong Client: Hong Kong & China Gas Co Inter Island and Estuary Crossing Construction and installation of twin 273mm dia x 1.5km mild steel gas lines across the harbour of Hong Kong. L&M acted as Consulting Engineers.
