Auger Boring
Auger boring is an environmentally friendly method of installing pipe crossings over relatively short distances. Land & Marine operate a wide range of auger boring equipment from 6” to 60” capacity and with jacking forces from 100 to 530 tonnes.
Laser guided auger boring is used when accuracy is essential, particularly in the case of gravity sewer renewal.
Using the most up to date machines, we can operate from a shaft as small as 2.4m diameter, and can install steel, plastic and clay pipe materials over distances of up to 120 metres.
