Landfalls and Crossings
Land & Marine has completed over 30 major landfalls and in excess of 40 river / estuary crossings in the UK and Eire alone. Bottom pulling pipelines into dredged trenches was for many years the conventional method of installation, but now we have added new techniques such as off-bottom, Flowlay®, bundles and HDD.
Utilising pulling systems of up to 1200 tonnes, we have installed 36” diameter pipelines in excess of 7km in length. We perform all installation and temporary works engineering in-house and provide project management and site construction services.
We have an extensive range of specialist equipment (winches, wires and rigging equipment).
